“MSW” Municipal Solid Waste is a challenge to manage when it is mixed. The segregated waste is always worthy to collect and transport for separate processing to get value out of it. The current challenge is not the segregation but to deliver the regular services for the citizen to at least pick the garbage from their premises on regular basis. Once daily 100% door to door collection is achieved then we can ask to citizen for helping us to receive the segregated waste otherwise the trust between the citizen and authorities is not gained. The waste management is not a rocket science. It is just  management of waste which included collection, transportation and processing of daily fresh waste coming to the processing site. failing on any step leads the garbage un attended within city which further creates the GVPs in every corner of the city. The responsibility is of authorities but the citizen play an important role for managing the waste of any city. To make citizen a partner of the authorities delivering the services will only be possible once the Authorities fulfilling the promises by providing the daily services to it’s citizen.
